Jiang Hu
Jiang Hu received the B.S. degree in optical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1990, the M.S. degree in physics and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, both from the University of Minnesota in 1997 and 2001, respectively.
From 2000 to 2002, he was with IBM Microelectronics Division where he received an IBM First Plateau Invention Achievement Award and was awarded four U.S. patents. Currently he is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M in the Computer Engineering Group.
Hu's research interest is in Computer-Aided Design for VLSI circuits, especially on physical design for robustness, manufacturability and power efficiency.
He received a Best Paper Award at the ACM/IEEE Design Automation Con-ference in 2001. He is an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design. He has served as technical program committee member of several committees, including DAC, ICCAD, ISPD, DATE, ICCD and ISCAS.
